The concept for the Harbor 25 is identical to
the concept we had for the Harbor 20. This brand
new Steven Schock design has a large comfortable
cockpit, beautiful lines, traditional details, and
an efficient hull shape. Most important of all,
sailing is delightfully easy. The Harbor 25 has a
self-tacking jib and lazy jacks for the main. It
is also equipped with an inboard engine, a head
compartment for full-sized people, and bunks for
naps and overnight cruising.
The self-bailing cockpit of the Harbor 25 is
eight feet in length and comfortably seats six
adults. The Harbor 25 has the same sail control
systems as the Harbor 20 – the halyards are
internal, and they are lead aft to the cockpit for
easy sail adjustments. The engine is a Saildrive
330 Honda 2-cylinder 4-stroke with 15 hp. It is
seawater cooled, has electric start, and has a
Flex-O-Fold two-bladed folding
propeller.
